Azerbaijani female wrestlers have competed in the semi-final matches of the U-17 European Championship held in Bulgaria.
Idman.Biz reports that Nuray Jafarli (46 kg) competed against Yuliya Palka from Poland in the semi-finals, and Fatime Bayramova (53 kg) competed against Maria Zhitovoz from Hungary.
Jafarli lost to her opponent 0:3, and Bayramova lost 0:10.
Both of our wrestlers will wrestle for bronze medals tomorrow.
Since Turkish Kıymet Tezcan, to whom our wrestler Simure Abdullayeva (69 kg) lost in the 1/4 finals, advanced to the finals, our representative will compete in a consolation match tomorrow.
