Another Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler won a medal at the Ali Aliyev Memorial Tournament, a 5-time world champion, held in Kaspiysk, Russia.

National team member Jabrail Gadzhiev debuted in a new weight category. The athlete, competing in the 79 kg category, won a bronze medal at the traditional competition.
