Azerbaijan's U18 women's volleyball team will participate in the second qualifying round of the European Championship. Sport24.az reports that the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation has released information about this.
The team has departed for Spain today, where the competition will be held. The national team will compete in Group C in the tournament to be held in the city of Cadiz. The rivals of the team led by head coach Shahin Chatma will be the host team, as well as the Estonian and Dutch national teams.
It should be noted that a total of 20 teams will compete in 5 groups in the second qualifying round of EURO-2026, which will be held on March 27–29. According to the regulations, only the group winners will qualify for the final stage of the continental championship.
