The Azerbaijan national team of boys under 18 in beach volleyball finished the championship of the Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) in fifth place.
The press service of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation told "Report" about this.
The team lost to Latvia in the 1/4 finals of the competition held in Cesis, Latvia.
The team consisting of Ibrahim Mammadov and Muhammad Aslanli won against Latvia and Estonia in the group stage, and against Lithuania in the play-offs.
The Azerbaijan U-18 girls' team stopped the fight in the group stage.
