The Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF) has launched a "1st Degree" coaching course for coaches-teachers in Nakhchivan.
Idman.biz reports that Vugar Aliyev, director of the AVF's Nakhchivan branch, spoke about the importance of the degree-oriented coaching courses organized for the first time in Nakhchivan.
He spoke about the work done towards the comprehensive development of volleyball in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. It was emphasized that the successful performance of the teams representing Nakhchivan in the Azerbaijan championships held in May-June of this year, and the involvement of about 15 athletes from Nakhchivan in the national teams consisting of boys and girls, allow us to look optimistically at the future of volleyball in the autonomous region. Vugar Aliyev, noting the role of coaches in the achieved success, thanked the Federation management for the attention and conditions created for the development of volleyball in Nakhchivan.
Cengiz Akarceshme, head of Training and lower age groups of AVF, noted that big volleyball starts from lower age groups all over the world, and therefore the importance of increasing the theoretical and practical knowledge of coaches-teachers. Then the trainings started.
The course is attended by 31 coach-teachers.
It should be noted that the course, which consists of theoretical and practical parts, will last 6 days. At the end, specialists who successfully pass the exam will receive the AVF "1st degree" certificate. Coaches-teachers who have received this certificate will be able to coach in local championships.
