The Azerbaijani national youth table tennis team has joined another international competition in Uzbekistan.
Idman.Biz reports that our team, which won one silver and two bronze medals at the "WTT Youth Contender" tournament held in Tashkent, will now compete in Andijan. The tournament is dedicated to the memory of Rafik Shiriyev, a famous Uzbek table tennis player.
Under the leadership of Elnur Hidayatzade and Ramil Jafarov, the head coaches of the national youth teams, Yagmur Mammadli, Yasaman Habibova, Mehin Mirzabalaeva, Banu Imanverdizade, Saida Guluzade, Aylin Sharifli, Gulnur Karimli, Jafar Almadadli, Aliakbar Mirzaliyev, and Jamal Karim will show their skills in the competition.
Athletes will compete in three age groups. The international tournament will conclude on May 21.
