On the final day of the European Wrestling Championship in Bratislava, Slovakia, three Greco-Roman wrestlers from Azerbaijan will compete for the gold medal.
According to "Report", Nihat Mammadli (60 kg), Hasrat Jafarov (67 kg), and Gurban Gurbanov (82 kg) will try to climb to the highest step of the podium.
Ulvi Ganizade (72 kg) will compete for a bronze medal.
It should be noted that earlier, freestyle wrestlers won 1 gold, 1 silver, and 4 bronze awards. Giorgi Meshvildishvili (125 kg) became the European champion, Osman Nurmagomedov (92 kg) won silver, and Islam Bazarqanov (57 kg), Ali Rahimzade (65 kg), Kenan Heybatov (70 kg), and Aganazar Novruzov (74 kg) won bronze medals.
Among the Greco-Roman wrestlers, Eldaniz Azizli (57 kg) won silver, and Islam Abbasov (87 kg) won a bronze medal. The Azerbaijani national freestyle wrestling team became the European champion in the team competition. Among women, Jale Aliyeva (57 kg) won a bronze award.
