Former Liverpool player Albert Riera is set to be appointed as the new head coach of Serbian club Crvena Zvezda.

Romano noted that the Spanish coach has agreed to a contract with his new club.
According to the source, the contract was secured through the agency of agent Andy Bara. Riera will replace Dejan Stankovic at Crvena Zvezda.
The 44-year-old Riera last managed Eintracht Frankfurt from February to May 2026.
