Azerbaijani athletes successfully started the European Team Championships held in Maribor, Slovenia.
"Report" informs that Elham Naghiyev and Lamiya Valiyeva, members of the Azerbaijani national team competing in the 3rd Division, were among the first "three" on the first day of the competition.
E. Naghiyev took 1st place in the 100-meter race with a result of 10.42 seconds in the competition with 14 athletes.
In the women's competition in the same distance, L. Valiyeva took 2nd place with a score of 11.62 seconds.
