Judo competitions continue at the Universiade held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany.

Aydan Valiyeva (52 kg) defeated Sreynich Kuna (Cambodia) in her first match, then Lea Beres (France), and advanced to the semi-finals. Although she lost to Hako Fukunaga (Japan) at this stage, she continues to fight for bronze.

Konul Aliyeva (48 kg) started the competition with a defeat - she lost to German Helena Habibe in the first match.
Babarahim Mirzayev (60 kg) defeated Igor Blashak from Poland in the first match, but lost to Yamada Fukuda from Japan in the next stage.
Nazir Talibov (66 kg) won against Etnaison Saint-Hilar from Haiti, but later lost to Ukrainian Mikita Goloborodko.
