The judo tournament at the Universiade, which is being held in the Rhine-Ruhr region of Germany, will start tomorrow.
Idman.biz's correspondent, who has been sent to Germany, reports that these competitions will take place at "Messe Essen", the main sports venue of the multi-forum.
The organizers have already placed the tatami mats and are dealing with technical issues. The matches will be held on three tatami mats.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani team will be represented at the Universiade with the following squad: Babarahim Mirzayev (60 kg), Nazir Talibov (66 kg), Nariman Mirzayev (73 kg), Mehdi Abbasov (81 kg), Eljan Hajiyev (90 kg), Davud Namazli (100 kg) and Ramazan Ahmadov (+100 kg), Konul Aliyeva (48 kg), Aydan Veliyeva (52 kg), Aytaj Gardashkhanli (70 kg), Narmin Amirli (78 kg) and Nigar Suleymanova (+78 kg).
