The Azerbaijan Sports Academy (ASA) and the Azerbaijan Judo Federation (ACF) are implementing a joint training and licensing program to enhance the knowledge and skills of coach-teachers in the country.
Idman.biz reports that the next stage of the program will take place in July and will include extensive training for judo coaches at levels I, II, and III.
The training will focus on technical-tactical skills, training planning, competition analysis, psychological and physical preparation, as well as knowledge of international competition rules.
It should be noted that within the framework of this cooperation, the first training on the "Coach Skills" module was successfully completed on June 10-13, hosted by ASA. This module focuses on the development of coaches' pedagogical, psychological, and communicative skills. Judo coaches participating in the training program were introduced not only to technical and tactical knowledge, but also to modern coaching skills such as facilitation, motivation, audience management, communication, and body language.
These trainings of ASA and ACF are considered as a long-term strategic development platform not only for existing coaches, but also for those who want to work in the field of teaching and coaching in the future.
