The European Judo Hopes Tournament and technical sessions by Kodokan specialists, organized by the European Judo Union, have started at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex. Sport24.az reports that 436 athletes (364 boys, 72 girls) from 88 clubs representing 12 countries are competing in the international competition.
Winners and prize-winners in 33 weight categories will be determined at the tournament held in the U-13 and U-15 age categories.
The technical sessions are led by European champion, world championship silver medalist Aleksandar Kukoly from Serbia, and Japanese Kodokan specialist, world championship medalist Tokuno Kazuhiko. These experienced coaches contribute to the development of the tournament participants by providing them with unique knowledge and skills.
