Azerbaijani judokas performed successfully at the international tournament dedicated to the memory of Vasily Oshepkov, held among juniors in Khabarovsk, Russia.
İdman.Biz reports that five athletes represented our country in the competition. The Azerbaijani team finished the tournament with one gold and one bronze medal.
Polad Hasanli (81 kg) won all his opponents and climbed to the highest step of the podium.
Zameddin Baghirov (66 kg) won a bronze medal, adding another award to the Azerbaijani national team's assets.
About 300 judokas from 13 countries competed in the tournament.
