Three more members of the Azerbaijani team have reached the podium in the judo competitions of the XVIII European Youth Summer Olympic Festival held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
"Report" informs that Nurana Hajizade (48 kg) and Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) won silver medals.
Aysun Mammadova, competing in the 52 kg weight category, won a bronze medal by defeating French Alice Lopez with an ippon in the match for third place.
On the first day of the competition, our judokas Gulshan Huseynova (44 kg), Rza Khalili (50 kg) and Rasul Alizadeh (55 kg) won gold medals by defeating all their opponents.
With 6 medals - 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze - the Azerbaijani national team is the leader in the overall team standings.
