The "Grand Slam" judo tournament continues in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
Idman.Biz reports that Aslan Kotsoyev, competing in the 90 kg weight category, has successfully passed two stages. He first defeated Kazakhstan's representative Aybol Nissanalin, and then defeated Italian Kristian Parlati to advance to the 1/4 finals.
Ushangi Kokauri, in the +100 kg weight category, also continues his successful performance. He first defeated Kazakhstani Jantilek Nurtilepulu, and then surpassed German Erik Abramov in the 1/4 finals.

Idman.Biz reports that three more members of the Azerbaijani national team entered the tatami on the third day of the competition.
Aslan Kotsoyev, competing in the 90 kg weight category, had a successful start to the tournament. He defeated Kazakhstan's representative Aybol Nissanalin and advanced to the 1/8 finals.
Ushangi Kokauri, in the weight category over 100 kg, was superior to Kazakhstani Jantilek Nurtilepulu and qualified for the 1/4 finals.
Jamal Feyziyev, Azerbaijan's other heavyweight representative, lost to Polish Yakub Sordil and said goodbye to the tournament.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team does not yet have a medal in its active.
