Azerbaijani trampoline gymnast Selcan Mahsudova aims to win a medal at the European Championship to be held this year.
She spoke about her achievements at tournaments held in Alkmaar, Netherlands.
"At the World Cup, we won a silver medal in mixed synchronized with my brother Magsud Mahsudov. At the "Dutch Trampoline Open" competition, I won a gold award in the individual program. We also took second place in the team competition. The competition was very successful for us. My performance here was my personal record. We want to win a medal at the next European Championship," she said in a statement to report.az.
Selcan Mahsudova also touched upon being awarded a special cup as the female athlete who presented the most difficult program during the competition:
"I had the most difficult program. Actually, I didn't plan it. I just felt during the competition that I could do it during the course of the program. With that, there were three triple somersaults, and mine were chosen as the most difficult."
It should be reminded that other representatives of Azerbaijan also won medals at tournaments held in the Netherlands.
