The third day of the European Cup in Rhythmic Gymnastics is over.
Idman.Biz reports that gymnasts competing in the senior age category demonstrated their skills in clubs and ribbon programs on this competition day.
According to the results, Mariia Borisova (AIN 2) was awarded first place in the ribbon program. Taisiia Onofriichuk (Ukraine) took second place, and Tara Dragas (Italy) took third place.
In the clubs program, the gold medal went to Daniela Munits (Israel). Darya Varenich (AIN 1) took second place, and Sofia Raffaeli (Italy) took third place.
In group exercises, teams presented their programs with 5 balls, as well as 3 hoops and 2 pairs of clubs. In the 5 balls program, the Israeli team took first place, AIN 1 took second place, and Italy took third place. In the 3 hoops and 2 pairs of clubs program, the AIN 2 team took first place, AIN 1 took second place, and the Ukrainian team took third place.
Based on the results of the all-around qualifying stage among seniors, 16 individual gymnasts who will compete in cross matches have been determined. In the 1/8 final stage, 8 of these gymnasts will perform in the ball program, and the other 8 will perform in the hoop program. The winners will qualify for the next stage – the 1/4 final.
