The International Skating Union (ISU) Junior Grand Prix figure skating competition has concluded.
Idman.biz reports that on the final day of the tournament, 35 female athletes from 30 countries performed in the free program.
According to the overall results of the competition, South Korean athlete Yuseong Kim took 1st place with 185.99 points, Japanese figure skater Mayuko Oka took 2nd place with 184.22 points, and Israeli athlete Sofia Shifrin took 3rd place with 176.95 points.
At the award ceremony, pairs in ice dancing and female athletes performing in the free program were awarded.
The winners were presented with medals by the President of the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation Fuad Nagiyev and the Secretary General of the Federation Gunel Badalova.
It should be noted that the competition was organized by the State Tourism Agency, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Azerbaijan Winter Sports Federation and the International Skating Union. 92 athletes from 38 countries participated in the tournament.
Azerbaijan was represented in the competition by our athletes Sabina Aliyeva, Leyli Akhundova and Arina Kalugina in single skating, and Anna O'Brien and Drake Tong in ice dancing.

The final of the free ice dance program took place at the Junior Grand Prix figure skating tournament held in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that 15 couples from 13 countries competed in the competition.
The French couple Ambre Perryer Yanesini and Samuel Blanj Claperman won the gold medal with 162.21 points.
Zoe Bianchi and Daniel Basile (Italy) tandem took second place with 149.64 points, and Sommer Homik and Nicolas Buelow (Canada) couple took third place with 142.38 points.
