The European Cup in rhythmic gymnastics continues in Burgas, Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that the third day of the tournament was opened by individual junior performances.
Based on the results of the qualifying stage, Azerbaijani gymnasts Shams Agahuseynova in ribbon and Fidan Gurbanli in clubs qualified for the finals in two events.
Later, junior group teams started the competition. Our team, consisting of Nazrin Abdullayeva, Ayan Nasirrova, Nazrin Salmanli, Madina Abbasli, Shams Muveffeqi and Nilufer Orujlu, won a bronze medal in all-around. Gymnasts also qualified for two finals in exercises with five hoops and five pairs of clubs.
In the second half of the day, the "Cross Battle" in all-around will be held among senior group teams. The Azerbaijani team – Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelizaveta Luzan, Gullu Agalarzade, Kamilla Aliyeva and Sofia Mammadova – will face Hungary in the play-off stage.
It should be noted that our gymnasts won a silver medal yesterday in the composition with three balls and two hoops.

They will compete for a place in the final with hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon. Azerbaijan will be represented at this stage by Shams Agahuseynova, Fidan Gurbanli and Azade Atakishiyeva.
Later, junior group teams will determine the strongest in all-around. The Azerbaijani team, consisting of Nazirin Abdullayeva, Ayan Nasirrova, Nazirin Salmanli, Madina Abbasli, Shams Muveffeqi and Nilufer Orujlu, will present compositions with five hoops and five pairs of clubs.
Based on the results of group and individual performances, the winners of the team competitions will be determined.
