Zira football club head coach Rashad Sadygov shared his thoughts on the first match against Estonia's "Payde" in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.
Idman.Biz reports that the expert spoke at a press conference before the away match.
Sadygov stated that his team is waiting for a tough match:
"Both teams want to move on to the next stage. The first game is very important. The opponent is playing at home and will try to win. We also have our own desires. "Payde" is an experienced team in European competitions. Today, we are waiting for an interesting and intense game".
The head coach also compared "Payde" to "Torpedo", whom they faced in the first qualifying round:
"There are similarities between the game philosophies of the opponents. Both teams prefer to play with the ball, and they are dangerous in standard situations. Our being in good shape will be very important. We will try to disrupt the opponent's game".
Recall that today's "Payde" - "Zira" match in Parnu, Estonia will start at 20:00 Baku time.
