After the Neftchi - Dinamo (Minsk) match (2:4) in the second qualifying round of the Conference League, the head coach of the guest team, Alexander Shakoyko, answered questions from journalists. Sport24.az reports that the expert said the following in a meeting with media representatives:

– If they had told you before the game that you would beat Neftchi 4:2, would you have believed it?

– Our goal is to pass the stage. We didn't think we would concede early goals in the beginning of the game. In general, scoring 4 goals and winning is great. We knew who we were playing with. I'm glad we got such a result.

– You played your European Cup games in Azerbaijan last season. How much did it affect today's match?

– I don't know how to answer.

– Do you think Neftchi can turn the game around?

– Nothing has ended yet. We don't have a great advantage. We will prepare seriously for the next match. We know which team we will play against. A two-goal difference is dangerous. We will prepare for the game with great seriousness. I repeat, our goal is to pass the stage and continue on our way.

– Would it be a disaster if you can't get past Neftchi?

– For us, any defeat is a disaster. We only go out onto the field for victory. If we can't get past the stage, I will be very disappointed.
