The Azerbaijani national rhythmic gymnastics team will compete in the second stage of the European Cup, which will be held in Burgas, Bulgaria, on May 15-18.
Idman.biz reports that the team will compete in the next tournament of the series after the European Cup in Baku.
Govhar Ibrahimova and Zohra Jafarova will compete in individual competitions, while Shams Agahuseynova and Azada Atakishiyeva will compete in the youth category.
Azerbaijan will also be represented in group competitions. The senior team includes Laman Alimuradova, Darya Sorokina, Yelizaveta Luzan, Gullu Agalarzade, Kamilla Aliyeva, and Sofiya Mammadova.
The youth group includes Nazrin Abdullayeva, Ayan Nasirova, Nazrin Salmanli, Madina Abbasli, Shams Muveffeqi, and Nilufer Oruclu.
Gymnasts from 12 countries will compete in the European Cup.
