The World Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics among juniors started today in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.
Idman.biz reports that the qualifying stage in hoop and ball exercises was held on the first day of the competition.
Azade Atakishiyeva scored 24,000 points in her hoop performance and finished the qualification in 6th place.
Ilaha Bahadirova scored 22,600 points in the ball exercise. She is currently in eighth place.
It should be noted that the winners of the World Junior Championship will be determined only in individual competitions. There is no all-around competition here.
