Two-time Olympic and three-time world champion in pole vaulting, Armand Duplantis, has achieved another spectacular success at the indoor world championship held in Poland.
İdman.Biz reports that the world star cleared a height of 6.25 meters, winning both a gold medal and setting a new world record for indoor venues.
The silver medal of the competition was won by Greek athlete Emmanuil Karalis, who showed a result of 6.05 meters. The bronze award was won by Australian representative Kurtis Marschall, who jumped to a height of 6.00 meters.
It is worth noting that this is not the first record set by Armand Duplantis in his career. He recently renewed the world record for the 15th time in his career by jumping to a height of 6.31 meters at the pre-season "Mondo Classic - 2026" tournament. Currently, the main goal of the 26-year-old athlete is to further improve these historic results that belong to him.
