The Azerbaijan national futsal team played a friendly match with the Georgian team today. Sport24.az reports that the match, which took place at the Tbilisi Arena, ended with the victory of the home team.
Our national team, which could not take advantage of the opportunities before the break, conceded 2 goals. On the contrary, our team started the second half with a goal. Nihad Ismayilov scored from a free kick and reduced the difference. However, the opponent scored another goal in the 31st minute. With 2 minutes left until the end, our team, replacing the goalkeeper with a field player, reduced the difference to a minimum again thanks to Manafoun. However, the home team scored again. Interestingly, although the referee blew the whistle before the goal, the first referee recorded the goal. The next game between these teams will be held on April 11 at 14:00 at the Tbilisi Arena.
