Azerbaijani footballer Vusal Iskandarli has stopped fighting in the play-offs of the Turkish First League. Sport24.az reports that his team "Boluspor" lost both semi-final matches and lost the chance to advance to the Super League.
Bolu, who lost 1:4 to "Bandırmaspor" at home, suffered the same fate away. Bandırma won with a score of 1:0.
Vusal, who had the chance to wear the uniform for 19 minutes in the first game, entered the field again later. Iskandarli replaced his teammate in the 72nd minute of the match.
