The 27-year-old Swedish forward is expected to undergo a medical examination at the London club today.
He is transferring from Sporting Lisbon.
It is worth remembering that Thierry Henry, Theo Walcott, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and other players have previously played with this number at Arsenal.
According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the London club will pay a base fee of 63.5 million euros and an additional 10 million euros in bonuses for this transfer. The Transfermarkt portal values the striker at 75 million euros.
In the 2024/25 season, Gyökeres participated in 52 matches in all tournaments, scored 54 goals, and provided 13 assists.
