Adil Shukurov and his wife had gone on an Umrah pilgrimage. However, due to the Iran-Israel/US conflict, the airspace in the country was closed, making it impossible for them to return to the country on time. As a result, they had to wait in Jeddah for several days to be evacuated.
Only on the evening of March 4, a safe evacuation was carried out from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to Baku by Azerbaijan. A total of more than 200 citizens were ensured to return to the country by the AZAL-owned "Boeing 787 Dreamliner" aircraft.
