"Qarabagh" will again show its strength on the field in the match with "Neftchi", as in previous years."
This was stated by Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev, the goalkeeper of the Aghdam team.
He spoke about the game against "Neftchi", which they will face in the XXI round of the Misli Premier League. The goalkeeper commented on the failure to postpone the match with "Neftchi" on the eve of the matches with "Newcastle" (England) in the UEFA Champions League.
"Everything is going well, God willing, we will win the necessary result on the field in that meeting. Just like we have been able to do it in recent years. It is true that difficulties may arise on the eve of the match with "Newcastle". But let's not forget that difficulties always force a person to work to the maximum. God willing, everything will be fine. The reason we have reached these places today is God's will. God has given us the strength to win. Therefore, it is not worth worrying about such small nuances," he said in a statement to "Report".
The 31-year-old goalkeeper said that his injury is slowly healing:
"My treatment is continuing as usual. I do certain exercises, but I still have a lot of work to do on myself. The time when I will return to the field will be determined after the doctors' opinion. We are planning to start training in March."

Sh.Mahammadaliyev spoke about the match against "Newcastle" in the Champions League play-off on February 18:
"There is still time for this game. The mood in the team is high. But we have completely focused our attention on the games of the national championship and cup."
Let us remind you that Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev was injured on November 16 last year in a match against France as part of the Azerbaijani national team.
It should be noted that "Qarabagh" applied to the PFL in order to prepare well for the match with "Newcastle" in the UEFA Champions League play-off. Although the team wanted the game with "Neftchi" in the 21st round of the Misli Premier League to be postponed before leaving for England, the Baku club did not agree to this proposal.
