- In the 31st round of the Azerbaijan Premier League, you defeated "Shamakhi" with a score of 3:0. How would you comment on the victory?

- It was a good game. We started actively. We managed to score an early goal. After the goal, the advantage was on our side. In general, the game was under our control from the first minute to the end. We scored two more times in the second half. It was an important victory for us. Now we have to think about the last 2 rounds.

- Can we say that scoring an early goal made your job easier?

- Of course, scoring an early goal had a positive effect on our game. It increases self-confidence even more.

- You could not defeat "Shamakhi" in the previous 2 games. How can you explain such an easy victory this time?

- You probably remember the match in the second round. We were very close to winning. But remembering those moments now won't change anything. Our team has been in good shape lately. Every victory increases self-confidence even more.

- You are now three points ahead of "Zira". Will it be possible to maintain this advantage until the end?

- There are 2 more rounds left. Our goal is to finish the season successfully. We don't pay much attention to the standings now. We want to win the next two matches and make our fans happy.

- How do you assess "Neftchi"'s chances of going to European Cups?

- Of course, we really want to go to European Cups. That's our goal. We are doing our best. But unfortunately, our going to European Cups does not depend only on us.

- So you will support "Sabah" in the cup final...

- Of course (laughs). We respect our opponents. But if I say "no", it would be a lie.

- Have you already drawn up plans for the next season for yourself?

- There will be no changes. I still have a one-year contract with "Neftchi". Everything here satisfies me. I will do my best for the success of my team in the new season as well.
