The Confederation of African Football has announced disciplinary decisions regarding the Senegal and Morocco national teams following the scandalous Africa Cup of Nations (CAF) final.
Idman.Biz reports that the harshest penalties have been applied to Senegal.
The national team's head coach, Pape Thiaw, has been suspended for five matches in CAF tournaments for unsportsmanlike conduct and bringing football into disrepute. The specialist was also fined $100,000 (170,000 AZN). It should be noted that Thiaw left the field with his team.

In addition, the Senegalese Football Federation was fined $300,000 (510,000 AZN) for aggressive behavior of fans towards the police, and an additional $300,000 (510,000 AZN) for the players and coaching staff leaving the field.
The Moroccan side was not left unpunished either. Ashraf Hakimi has been suspended for two matches in CAF tournaments, one of which is conditional. Ismail Saibari was fined $100,000 (170,000 AZN) in addition to a three-match suspension for obstructing the transfer of the towel to the opposing goalkeeper.
