Sabah's U-11 team participated in the international "Shota Cup" football tournament held in Batumi, Georgia. Sport24.az reports that the team, coached by Arslan Guliyev, faced "Golden Boys" (6:1), "Maxinjauri A" (1:2), "Dolphins Batumi" (3:1), and "Batusi" (3:1) in the group stage.
Finishing the group stage in 2nd place, Sabah lost to Kobuleti in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw in the 1/4 finals.
In the fight for 5th-8th place, Sabah defeated Bombora Kobuleti (5:1) and Uqimerioni Tbilisi (1:0) to finish the tournament in 5th place.
