Although the parties held negotiations, no agreement was reached on the details of the contract.
It should be noted that the previous head coach of "Forest" was Angelos Postecoglou. The team is currently in 18th place in the Premier League standings.
As a football player, Mancini played for Bologna, Sampdoria and Lazio. In his coaching career, he coached Lazio, Inter, Manchester City, Galatasaray and Zenit. He won the 2020 European Championship with the Italian national team.
