Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate may continue his career in Spain. Sport24.az, citing insider Nicolo Schira, reports that "Real" has already sent an offer to the French footballer.
According to the source, the "Royal Club" has offered the 26-year-old defender a contract until the summer of 2031. The Spaniards hope to be able to transfer the player as a free agent this summer.
Konate's current contract with Liverpool expires this June. It is reported that negotiations between the French footballer and the English club regarding the extension of the contract have been suspended and there has been no serious progress in this direction.
It should be noted that Konate has appeared in 31 matches in all tournaments for Liverpool this season and scored two goals.
