A new interim head coach has been appointed for the "Shamkir" football club.

After parting ways with Vugar Nadirov by mutual agreement, Kamran Ismayilov, the assistant coach, will temporarily manage "Shamkir".
He will lead the team in the upcoming games and the training process will continue under his supervision.

The identity of the new interim head coach of "Shamkir" has been revealed.
Idman.Biz, referring to sportinfo.az, reports that Vugar Nadirov, who left his post a few days ago, has been replaced by his assistant.
The team has been entrusted to Kamran Ismayilov. The young specialist, who started working here two weeks ago instead of Rufat Guliyev, will remain in office at least until the winter break.
Whether he will continue his activities will depend on the results he achieves during these 2 months.
Nadirov ended his cooperation after discussing the situation with the management after the 0:1 defeat against "Garadag Lokbatan" at home in the 6th round of the II League.
"Shamkir", which scored 9 points in six rounds, is currently in the 6th place in the II League table. Nadirov was at the helm of the western representative since the summer of 2024.
The team finished the 2024/25 season in 5th place under his leadership. Although he left the post of head coach in the summer of this year, he later returned to "Shamkir".
The western representative's defeat to "Shaki" before "Garadag" directly affected the decision of local functionaries.
In fact, Nadirov did not leave his job voluntarily. He was warned in advance that if you do not get a positive result in these two games, you will part ways.
However, the young coach resisted even after the match with "Garadag", expressing his intention to stay here at least until the winter break.
