"Atletico" has strengthened its midfield line with a new player. Sport24.az reports that the Madrid giant has transferred Johnny Cardoso from "Betis".
This was reported by the club's press service.
"Atletico" paid 24 million euros in compensation to his club for the American footballer. A contract was signed with the 23-year-old defensive midfielder until the summer of 2030.
It should be noted that "Betis" transferred Johnny Cardoso from the Brazilian club "Internacional" in January 2024. The US national team member scored 4 goals and 1 assist in 46 official matches for the La Liga representative last season.
