The president of the Italian Serie A, Luigi De Siervo, has confirmed that the 2026/27 Italian Super Cup will not be held in Saudi Arabia. Potential hosts include the USA and Italy. Sport24.az reports that the official spoke about this in his statement to "GR Parlamento Radio RAI".
The Italian Super Cup is expected to be held again as a "Final Four". In addition to the current champion and the winner of the national cup, the mini-tournament will also include the team that finished second in Serie A and the cup finalist.
It should be noted that the winner of last season was "Napoli", who defeated "Bologna" in the decisive match.
