An intellectual competition was held among sports journalists, organized by the Professional Football League (PFL), AFFA, and "Misli," dedicated to July 22 - National Press Day. Sport24.az, referring to PFL, reports that all media representatives participating in the tournament were presented with commemorative gifts by AFFA and PFL.
The tournament, attended by about 80 media representatives, was interesting and memorable. In the competition, teams were given the names of the 12 clubs that will participate in the 2025/2026 season of the Azerbaijan Premier League. At the same time, employees of PFL and AFFA participated in the tournament out of competition. In the end, the "Karvan" team won, "Gabala" took second place, and "Shamakhi" took third place.
At the end of the event, the "Karvan" team was awarded a cash prize and medals. The winners of the second and third places received cash prizes, special gifts were given to the female participants of the competition, and commemorative prizes were given to the members of the "Zira" and "Neftchi" teams, who answered the most questions related to PFL and AFFA.
