Raman Sidhu, a 22-year-old footballer for the English semi-professional club Hashtag United, has died due to cardiac arrest.
Idman.biz reports that the information was released by the club's press service.
The club's statement said that despite nearly two hours of efforts by doctors, it was not possible to save the young footballer's life.
"We offer our deepest condolences to Raman's family, teammates and everyone who knew him," the club said in a statement.
