Gurban Gurbanov, the head coach of "Qarabagh," which is holding a training camp in Austria, gave an interview to the club's website. Sport24.az reports that he shared his thoughts on the test matches held today against the Dutch club "Twente" (3:2, 1:2):
"We had two good games. We created conditions for all our players to play 90 minutes. We faced a strong and disciplined opponent with a good game philosophy. What we did on the field was more important than the result. It would not be right to demand that the players correctly execute all our wishes yet. Mistakes are inevitable. However, our team's performance in both matches gave hope for the future. It was the most important day of the preparation period. It is also gratifying that we completed the games without injuries."
The head coach also commented on the performance of new transfers Dani Bolt and Pedro Bikalyo: "Everything is getting better from training to training and from game to game. Both are responsible players. Of course, they have not yet fully unlocked their potential. I believe that they will gain better form over time."
