The match between Gabala and Mingachevir in the second qualifying round of the Azerbaijan Cup was remarkable for Prince Owusu, the player of the home team. Sport24.az reports with reference to the press service of the regional representative that the 19-year-old Ghanaian legionnaire, who scored a hat-trick in that match, entered the club's history as the 7th player to score three goals in one match.
Other players who have scored a hat-trick in Gabala's history are Vusal Garayev, Farzad Hatami, Theo Weeks, Bagali Dabo, Filip Ozobic, and Bilel Aouacheriya.
