The new head coach of the Mexican national team has been announced. Sport24.az reports that former Barcelona defender Rafael Marquez will lead the Mexican national team after the 2026 World Cup.
Currently, Javier Aguirre is coaching the national team.
It should be noted that the World Cup will be held in Mexico, Canada, and the USA. Mexico will compete with South Africa and South Korea in Group A.
The fourth team in the group will be one of the national teams of Czech Republic, Ireland, Denmark, and North Macedonia.
The 46-year-old specialist currently works as an assistant coach in the Mexican national team.
