Florentino Perez, president of the "Real Madrid" football club, has announced that he has no intention of resigning.
Lent.az reports that he said this at a press conference he held.
The 79-year-old president also denied reports that he had a serious illness.
"I'm very sorry to tell you, but I'm not going to resign. I will not resign! Campaigns are being waged against me. But I am still here and I am the president. People said I had cancer, but it was all lies. I'm not tired," Perez said at a press conference.
It should be noted that Florentino Perez was the president of "Real Madrid" from 2000 to 2006. He was re-elected to this position in 2009.
