Fernando Batista has been dismissed from his post as head coach of the Venezuelan national team.
"Report" reports that the Venezuelan Football Federation has released a statement about this.
It was reported that the decision was made due to the team's unsatisfactory results. The team, which finished 8th with 18 points in the qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup, failed to qualify for the final stage.
It should be noted that the 55-year-old Argentine specialist had been coaching the team since March 2023. The Venezuelan national team played 28 matches under the leadership of F.Batista, winning 9 of them. The team drew 8 times and lost the remaining matches.
