In the next season, at least 5 English clubs will compete in the Champions League. Sport24.az reports that this became possible thanks to Arsenal's 3:0 victory over Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.
After this result, it was determined that England will not fall below second place in the ranking table of European cups at the end of the current season.
It should be noted that the number of Premier League clubs in the Champions League could reach 7 in the new season. If Aston Villa wins the tournament this season, and Tottenham or Manchester United wins the Europa League (provided that all three do not fall into the top 4 of the Premier League at the end of the season), the English can be represented by the maximum number of participants in the tournament involving giants.
