"I congratulate all Turan Tovuz fans." Sport24.az reports that these words were said by Ehtiram Guliyev, Chairman of the Board of the regional representative, in a statement to the club's press service.
The functionary commented on their qualification for European Cups:
"We achieved this after 32 years of longing. New joy and excitement came to our city. We experienced a football festival. First of all, I am grateful to our head coach, the players, and most of all, the fans. We have upset our fans a lot this year. I believe that we will bring them joy with a good result."
Guliyev also said that there was good news for the fans:
"We are doing our best to hold the first European Cup match in the city of Tovuz. They have been very far from us during the season. In return, we want to give them a European Cup match. Congratulations to all our fans. I want support from the regional districts. We expect support from Agstafa, Gazakh, Gadabay, and Shamkir. "Turan Tovuz" is not just a team from one city. It is the team of the entire West. I congratulate everyone."
