Before 19-year-old Due, Partick Kluivert (1995) for Ajax and Carlos Alberto (2004) for Porto were the youngest to score in the final.
In addition, Desire is the 6th player to both assist and score in a Champions League final. He is the youngest player to achieve this feat.
