According to "Report", the decision was made at the AFFA Executive Committee.
The issue of abolishing the foreign player limit in the Misli Premier League was discussed at the meeting. As a result, it was decided to abolish the foreign player limit from the 2025/2026 season.
A maximum of 17 foreign players can be on the game's order sheet. A maximum of 11 foreign players are allowed to play on the field at the same time.
The fee for foreign players will be as follows:
From 1 to 7 foreign players: 5000 (five thousand) AZN
From 8 to 12: 10000 (ten thousand) AZN
From 13 to 15: 100000 (one hundred thousand) AZN
16 and above: 200000 (two hundred thousand) AZN
