Napoli head coach Antonio Conte made harsh statements after the match against Bologna. The experienced specialist
expressed his dissatisfaction with his team's poor performance at the start of the game and the lack of aggressiveness.
Sport24.az reports that the expert, speaking to DAZN, emphasized that some episodes decided the fate of the game.
Conte, saying that he was not completely disappointed with his team's overall game, drew attention to psychological aspects:
"I am not completely disappointed with the performance, but sometimes the devil interferes in the game and that's what happened this time. We need to be more aggressive when pressing. If we play half-heartedly, we only waste energy and time. This is not the first game this season where we have fallen behind 2-0, and this cannot be a coincidence."
The head coach defended young striker Rasmus Hojlund, who is under criticism:
"He is the only central striker in the team and plays constantly. We have had little opportunity for rotation. He is only 23 years old and has great potential. It would not be right to speak negatively about him."
Conte, also mentioning young talent Alisson Santos, expressed his satisfaction with the player's development:
"He is developing more and more. He is increasing his level thanks to his hard work. The game becomes more difficult as opponents get to know you, but Alisson's future is bright."
